dream... imagine... fly

Imagine:

1) to form a mental image of (something not actually present to the senses).

2) to suppose; think; conjecture.

I've always loved the word IMAGINE. It's a simple word that I think looks pretty and holds so much meaning. It's the word that I use when I look at my beads. It's the word that I've always stated over and over to my daughter, Amelia, when she is looking at something to either figure it out or just contemplating over something. I actually hung the word in her baby room to engrain it into her. It's so important to use and to have.

Since I am not a graphic designer, I've struggled with branding my store on Etsy. I've imagined what I'd like, but never quite got there in my head. Then, it happened. I found SeaDreamStudio on Etsy and started browsing the designs in the store. There it was!! Exactly what I wanted! Not only is my favorite word in it, the image of the girl flying away on the bird just floored me. I had to have it and now it is mine. Thank you Dale!

Please take a look at my new banner and expect the image to appear all over my things soon!

I'm a happy girl today, flying on the little bird who will take me to places that I've dreamed of deep in my imagination :)

New Bangle

This is the second bangle that I've created using an unfinished wood bangle as the base. This one was made with paper strips, ribbon, fabric flower, tiny beads and a bird sticker that I've adored. The inside was painted blue with a pearl finish. I'll be listing this and the other bangle in my earlier blog in my store one of these days :)

Favorite Things ... Childhood Memories

I don't hold onto many things but for some reason, I have held on to this through countless moves and I still have it! This was the lightswitch cover that my mom put in my baby room.

It will be going into my studio as soon as I can fix the lightswitch.

I put it in Amelia's room when she was a baby too!

Fashion Tip Tuesday - Personal Jeweler

Today's fashion tip is..... consider obtaining a personal jeweler, like me! :) The movie stars do it, right? Are you out there buying spring and summer clothes? Do you need the perfect unique accessory that you won't see on anyone else in your neighborhood? If you answered yes, to either of those questions then you are in need of a personal jeweler.
Seriously... as funny as I am always trying to be, I've made many things for my customers in the past. Some I've dreamed up and some they've dreamed up. Either way, I love doing it. Sooooo... if there's ever anything that you're looking for and you don't see it in my store quite the way you imagined it, please get in touch! You can contact me through the contact link in Etsy or at directly at puffluna@adelphia.net
The earrings pictured are called glitter heart. Read all about it and buy them here

Something is Going to Happen

I'm excited... something special is going to happen and I can hardly keep my mouth shut about it! I'll let you know what it is soon. :)

I decided to feature my petite bird pieces that I made last week. I saw these little birds and fell in love. They are sterling silver as are all of the other silver components. I oxidized the chain and earwires but left the little birdy bright for a nice contrast. I love how the dark chain looks on the skin. The necklace is perfect for everyday with everything. Petite and cute! I've already sold 1 pair of earrings, but you can link here to purchase.... Buy the Necklace Buy the Earrings
Have a great day :)

I'm Feelin' It!

Spring! Where are you? I saw icicles melting today, loads of sunshine and even a few birds chirping. You're not here yet, so it's patience.
