Proud Mama!!

My new line is now available! I'm am really excited about this (and so is my little artist, Amelia!) I decided that I wanted to wear her art and have it with me wherever I go. I took one of her drawings (see the whole picture above) and chose a part of it to print and put in my pendant. I seal it with a gloss that leaves a shiny coating, almost glass-like, on top. These are currently available in gold plate and a shiny brass locket. I will be offering silver pendant and rings soon. You can choose the pendant style and chain. The chain is gold-fill. One of the chains is a delicate cable chain and the other is a link chain that's a bit larger. These are $45 and available now in my Etsy store!

To order, you'll scan your artwork into your computer and attach it to an email. You can send the email to me and I'll open the art and crop a section or use the entire thing. I'll send you some options via email and make the pendant! The whole process will take 2 weeks.

The Month of Sales....

Already on Vacation Necklace

I know it doesn't seem like it would be, but being creative with the sales this month is tough! I've been sitting here staring at the computer trying to come up with something fun.... it just hit me! I little search game for you :) Not to take up too much of your time though. I know that's as hard to come by as a perfect shade of lipstick (or gloss in my case)... All items with the tag of GREEN are 10% off on 2/26/09. Think spring!

To find the green, just go to the searchbox with my store's name in the first spot and type in green. They'll all come up there.

I am weak...

I keep buying supplies, even though I want to stop! I can't resist some things and the brass finding that I used in this necklace is great... so I had to buy a few :) It adds an industrial, modern, mechanical edge to the necklaces that I designed with it. I'm working on another necklace using that piece, but it's very different. Hope to list it tomorrow.

Why are kids....

obsessed with potty talk?? Why does saying a potty word make them crack up? My daughter does it, but she's normal (well...)! Her friends do it too! They can say a word, any bodily function that has to do with going to the potty or a result of the act and literally go into hysterics. I can't figure it out.... when will this phase end?? :)

Anyway... today is Wednesday, three minutes from Thursday. I couldn't take any photos today since the skies here were too gray so I'll post one of my current favorites. Everything is still 10% off!

New Beads... New Necklace

I finally bought some... Czech Cathedral Beads. They are really gorgeous in person. They are a great translucent olive shade with golden tips. I strung some with brass wire and added a pretty gold and red glass rose and brass chain to make this asymmetrical necklace pictured.
