Yes, it's true! I closed my store in October of 2009 and now, almost 2 years later, I will reopen! I am really looking forward to the reopening and you should too since I will have many items on MAJOR sale plus many new items to choose from.

Things will be a little different than before since now I have two other jobs. This will be my place to have fun and create! I am really looking forward to it.

More details will follow, but wanted to give you a heads up! My goal is to reopen by the end of September 2011.

If you'd like notification of the actual grand reopening, email me at puffluna@hotmail.com. Check my blog often for sneak peeks at what will be coming (some vintage, some stone and many one of a kind!)

Also included an updated picture of Amelia who is almost 11 years old now!!

New Items in my Store!

Finally... a sunny day that I'm at home and had a moment :) I added a few things to my store. Please stop by and take a look!!

The Sea Monster

then suddenly she appeared on the surface. From the depths of the ocean she rose. Coming to play with the puppy.... Ahhhhh!

You know how you take a million photos on the digital camera... then you come home, sort through and save a couple of the good ones? Well, as I was sorting through, I saw this photo. Amelia's posture is hysterical and I didn't even notice it when I was taking the photo. haha

This photo was taken at the Fairport Harbor dog beach.

Almost Giving it Away!

Where Have I Been?

Hi! I've been away for awhile... my laptop broke, my Etsy shop was closed (temporarily!), I've started a new full-time job, I will be starting a new part time job at my church and we got a puppy! School starts for Amelia this coming week. Life has been busy and new. I haven't touched my jewelry for months... but starting to get in the swing of things.

Going forward, my blog will include new jewerly, thoughts about God and my growing relationship, news on our puppy Ruthie and updates about my family and friends.

My store is opened with a few items that may look familiar, but there will be new items to come.

This blog will be about Ruthie, our new pup. We adopted her on 7/4/09 all the way from Delaware OH. She's a Cattle Dog Beagle mix. She's adorable, but really a handful!

It's Official

Hi everyone... just wanted to tell you what's been going on lately.

I was contacted by someone from my old line of work and I'll be starting back there on Monday! I'm really looking forward to it. I've been cooped up in the house making thousands of pieces of jewelry for the last 3.5 years. Not that I haven't loved it, but it's time for a change again. I'll still be making jewelry.. just not as often. My Etsy site will remain and I will be adding new designs. I'm thinking many 1-of-a-kind pieces will be popping up.

Thank you to everyone who has supported puffluna these past years. I am so appreciative to all of you. I find it hard to express how grateful I am to you and to Etsy for providing me with the opportunity to stay at home with my daughter Amelia. It's been a dream come true.

Please check my site for new pieces... they'll be coming straight from my heart (I have many necklaces hanging on my model waiting for a sunny day for photos!)

Love, Julie

The Month of Sales....

Already on Vacation Necklace

I know it doesn't seem like it would be, but being creative with the sales this month is tough! I've been sitting here staring at the computer trying to come up with something fun.... it just hit me! I little search game for you :) Not to take up too much of your time though. I know that's as hard to come by as a perfect shade of lipstick (or gloss in my case)... All items with the tag of GREEN are 10% off on 2/26/09. Think spring!

To find the green, just go to the searchbox with my store's name in the first spot and type in green. They'll all come up there.

Thanks! :)

The Month of Sales Continues!

Free shipping until further notice! I will refund the shipping fee back to your paypal account. :)

Why are kids....

obsessed with potty talk?? Why does saying a potty word make them crack up? My daughter does it, but she's normal (well...)! Her friends do it too! They can say a word, any bodily function that has to do with going to the potty or a result of the act and literally go into hysterics. I can't figure it out.... when will this phase end?? :)

Anyway... today is Wednesday, three minutes from Thursday. I couldn't take any photos today since the skies here were too gray so I'll post one of my current favorites. Everything is still 10% off!

The Month of Sales

For the rest of the month, there will be some sort of sale going on in my store. This is in addition to the sale items already in the Sales Section. Until further notice (I'm not sure when) I will offer 10% off of everything in my store! The next sale will be announced here and in my store when this one ends and the new one begins. :)

And the winner is....

Entry #25! Jen! :) Jen, you can send me a convo from my etsy store and I'll explain the details about claiming the $15. Congratulations!

Check back in March for the next giveaway! Thank you to everyone who participated in this month's giveaway. You make it fun :)
