I just love how these turned out! I sold a pair of these at the craft show last Friday too. They were my first ever craft show sale! I told Susan, my very first craft show customer, that she made my day and that I would never forget her... my first craft show customer :)

New Bangle

This is the second bangle that I've created using an unfinished wood bangle as the base. This one was made with paper strips, ribbon, fabric flower, tiny beads and a bird sticker that I've adored. The inside was painted blue with a pearl finish. I'll be listing this and the other bangle in my earlier blog in my store one of these days :)

Favorite Things ... Orange Blossoms

When I was a little girl we piled into the Thunderbird and drove from OH to FL to go to Disney World. That's where I got this snap wallet with pretty embroidery. I don't remember picking it out at the store, but I have used it ever since. Right now it's storing Amelia's cash. We have to hide it from Daddy since he's been known to dip into it. :) From that trip, I also remember the orange blossom perfume. It came in a little orange shaped container with a white lid. I LOVED the smell of it. I can still remember the smell. I think I have the container in a box in the attic.

It snowed... but I got to work with flowers!

It did snow here yesterday... blah! Trying to bring spring and summer in, I seem to have worked with a lot of flowers this weekend! haha The jewelry pictured has been added to my store. If you're in the mood for flowers like me, take a look!

Fashion Tip: Buy your outfit to go with your jewelry! ;) I think this outfit would look great with my Graduated Orange Turquoise Necklace. I found these stones and HAD to have them. Half the fun of designing jewelry is finding the perfect stones.

Outfit is from Anthropologie. I had some brighter shoes in mind but since I don't wear leather shoes.. these will do. I was thinking green!
